Bitter Sweet Departure: Farewell Lost Dutchman

This morning we reluctantly steered our vehicle away from Lost Dutchman State Park. A bittersweet testament to the deep connections forged amidst the stunning desert landscape. Though the pull of Humboldt County and a new journey forward, the memories of shared laughter around crackling bonfires, and group outings made for a lot of fun. The truly remarkable people we encountered, especially the incredibly caring, kind, and fun volunteers we had the privilege to work alongside, and the fantastic Park Rangers, will remain vivid in our memories. The heartwarming camaraderie, made leaving so incredibly difficult. Yet, with hearts full and cameras brimming with breathtaking snapshots of our Arizona volunteer experience, we eagerly anticipate the unfolding adventures that await us back to the California Redwoods.

Here are some fun snapshots of our incredible experience at Lost Dutchman State Park.
